New features released to BrukTech platform on May 14, 2026
What's New in This Version
We've made several improvements to help you get things done faster and with fewer headaches. This release focused on invoicing reliability, codebase cleanup, and laying groundwork for the new frontend.
New features
Customer Information Letter automation — A "Customer Information letter" is now automatically generated and sent with the first invoice to new customers, including servicer branding and SPV transfer clauses in Finnish and English. Letters are stored in S3 and attached as external attachments. BRUK-12: Sending "Customer Information letter" with the first invoice and changesDone
Seller page — New seller page added to the platform. BRUK-100: Seller pageDone
Highlights
The standout delivery this sprint was the Customer Information Letter feature (BRUK-12: Sending "Customer Information letter" with the first invoice and changesDone) — a long-running item (originally created Oct 2024) that automates a key compliance touchpoint for new customers. This removes a manual step from onboarding and ensures consistent, bilingual communication across all client contracts.
We also completed a significant codebase cleanup by removing five unused legacy integrations (Procountor, DNB, SaveLend, Forex, Geocoord) (BRUK-92: Remove unused legacy projectsDone), reducing maintenance burden and attack surface.
Fixes & Improvements
Invoice reminders production fix — Invoices with "Returned" status are now filtered out of reminder jobs, improved logging was added, and the reminder schedule was changed to weekdays only (Mon–Fri). BRUK-95: Invoice reminders prod issueDone
Invoice delivery failure visibility — Error messages for failed invoice deliveries now appear in the audit trail, and the email field in delivery options is properly trimmed. BRUK-105: Invoice Delivery Marked as Failure error message is not showing anywhereDone
QuickSight decimal conversion fix — Resolved a production bug with decimal conversion in QuickSight reporting. BRUK-107: Quicksight decimal conversion bugDone
Legacy project removal — Removed Procountor, DNB, SaveLend, Forex, and Geocoord legacy projects to simplify the codebase. BRUK-92: Remove unused legacy projectsDone
ESLint & Prettier setup — Configured code quality and formatting tools for the new frontend project with pre-commit enforcement. BRUK-102: Prettier and ESLint setup for new FE projectDone
Security Updates
Removed five unused legacy integrations (Procountor, DNB, SaveLend, Forex, Geocoord), reducing the codebase surface area and eliminating unmaintained dependencies. BRUK-92: Remove unused legacy projectsDone
Enforced consistent linting and formatting standards on the new frontend project to prevent code quality regressions. BRUK-102: Prettier and ESLint setup for new FE projectDone
